Clinical Supervision for Licensed Master Social Workers
Mindful Point Behavioral Health Counseling LLC
Are you an LMSW working toward independent licensure in New Mexico? I offer individual clinical supervision grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed practice — with particular experience supporting clinicians who work with complex presentations and high-stakes careers.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Army veteran with experience in VA healthcare and private practice, I bring a focused and practical supervisory approach that supports your clinical growth while preparing you for the demands of independent licensure.
Supervision Is a Good Fit If You Are:
An LMSW pursuing hours toward LCSW licensure in New Mexico
Working with veterans, active duty service members, first responders, healthcare workers, or legal professionals
Carrying complex or high-acuity cases and looking for grounded, experienced guidance
Working with trauma, anxiety, OCD-related, or mood presentations
Looking to strengthen your clinical foundation across a range of presenting concerns
What We Work on Together:
Case conceptualization and clinical reasoning — making sense of complex presentations
Diagnostic assessment and differential diagnosis — building confidence and precision
Documentation review — progress notes, treatment planning, and clinical writing
High-stakes career considerations — understanding the unique culture, stressors, and clinical needs of veterans, first responders, healthcare workers, and legal professionals
Professional identity and ethics — developing your voice as an independent clinician
Exposure to trauma-informed frameworks and evidence-based approaches — including conceptual grounding in EMDR-informed, ACT, and exposure-based models
Note: Formal training in EMDR and other specialized modalities requires separate specialized training programs. Supervision with me can support your conceptual understanding of these frameworks but does not substitute for or replace those trainings.
My Supervisory Approach
Supervision with me is collaborative, practical, and grounded in your development as a clinician. I draw on evidence-based frameworks to support clinical reasoning, professional growth, and the real challenges of day-to-day practice.
For supervisees interested in values-based, experiential approaches, I can also incorporate ACT-consistent supervision — applying acceptance and commitment principles to your growth as a developing clinician. This is an option, not a requirement. We'll tailor supervision to fit your learning style and clinical goals.
Individual supervision conducted via telehealth, with flexible scheduling to accommodate your caseload. Sessions are structured to meet New Mexico Social Work Examiners Board licensure requirements.
Fee:Sliding scale $65–$100 per sessionI am committed to keeping supervision accessible while you build your hours
